How long did the pyramid take to be build?

History
1 answer:

8 0

Answer:

Around twenty years

Explanation:

In my old history book, it says "Herodotus was told by his Egyptian guides that it took 20 for a force of 100,000 oppressed slaves to build the pyramid (with another 10 years to build a stone causeway that connected it to a temple in the valley below)."

So, for the average pyramid it would take 20 years (give or take depending on things like weather, the slaves building it, etc)

Mayan traders transported goods in two ways. One was to carry the goods on their back, and the other was __________.
Effectus [21]

Mayan traders were known to transport their goods via b. canoe

For all their advancements, the Maya never came up with the wheel and did not have donkeys and horses to carry goods when they were trading. They therefore had two main ways of transporting goods:

  • goods were carried by people on their backs
  • goods were carried in very large canoes that could take over 15 people sometimes

The Maya who carried goods on their backs were normally enslaved people or people who they paid to carry the goods and so large quantities of goods could not be traded overland effectively.

In conclusion, the Maya used both canoes and people to transport goods.
