The voting pattern of them changed because the party continued to represent anti-slavery views so they changed to Republican Party.

Explanation:

The main cause of the civil war was due to the African Americans and the slavery upon them. But even after the war the slavery continued in the southern state. Though the southern states had great wealth they were tied upon to the slave.

The Americans even after the war were not able to treat the blacks equally to them they always considered them as inferior. People were ill-treated and were brutally attacked if they refused to work as slaves. The white’s supremacy continued even after the war and this civil war failed to abolish slavery completely.

Why was it important to have strong people in communities in the slave trade
Vlada [557]

Answer:

Africans organized their societies around the family unit, and gold supply often dictated which society held the most power—until the start of the Atlantic slave trade.

The beginning of the Atlantic slave trade in the late 1400s disrupted African societal structure as Europeans infiltrated the West African coastline, drawing people from the center of the continent to be sold into slavery.

New sugar and tobacco plantations in the Americas and Caribbean heightened the demand for enslaved people, ultimately forcing a total of 12.5 million Africans across the Atlantic and into slavery.

How did 9/11 affect most Americans personally?
kvasek [131]
 1. The threat of terrorism has grown significantly. Although there were terrorist strikes before to 9/11 (e.g., the bombing of embassies and the bombing of Oklahoma City), none were as serious or well-planned.
 2. increased security at airports and on aircraft. The entire globe wished to avoid another 9/11.
 3. War in Afghanistan: After 9/11, America developed a mistrust of the Taliban-led Afghanistan and the fact that it was harboring several terrorist organizations.
 4. War in Iraq: Following 9/11, there were concerns that Saddam Hussein was harboring terrorist organizations that aimed to harm the US and the West as well as being suspected of possessing WMDs. All of this culminated in the Iraq War in 2003, the effects of which are still being felt today (ISIS)
 5. distrust of the Muslim community. Americans had a great deal of mistrust towards Muslims in general after 9/11 because they thought some of them would be terrorists. This mistrust is still present in the alt-right movement today.
 6. Patriot Act: broad citizen surveillance to combat terrorism (lone wolf or part of a group). This conduct sparked a heated discussion about the trade-off between freedom and security, which continues today.
 7. The American endeavor to police the world did not end in Iraq and Afghanistan. Additionally, there were military operations in Somalia, airstrikes in Libya, and support for Syrian rebels.

What animal best represents John Locke, and explain why.
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

Tiger grrrr lol jsp it would be a WOLF , John Locke would be represented as a lone wolf an animal that acts independently or generally lives or spends time alone instead of with a group not being led by one single leader (Monarch) and having a more complex governing of himself (Democracy).

Explanation:

Represnting Locke, all humans have pre-political rights that afford them protection against the aggression of others. But where does this leave animals? For Locke, animals do not have natural rights, and therefore human interactions with animals are property governed (Side By Side Comparison to The Governing of Rights with a single Monarch as a leader and then a Majority Ruled GOVT) . John would be an independent self governed animal such as a more complex democracy .
