Answer:

28, - 36

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given a sequence of 1, - 3, 6, - 10, 15, -21, ..........

Now, the difference of 2nd and 1st term is (- 3 - 1) = - 4 = - 2²

Again, the difference of 3rd and 2nd term is [6 - ( -3)] = 9 = 3²

Now, the difference of 4th and 3rd term is [- 10 - 6] = - 16 = - 4²

Again, the difference of 5th and 4th term is [15 - ( -10)] = 25 = 5²

Now, the difference of 6th and 5th terms is [- 21 - 15] = - 36 = - 6²

Therefore, the difference of the terms are - 2², 3², - 4², 5², - 6², ..........

From this sequence, it is clear that the next two differences will be 7² i.e 49 and - 8² i.e. -64

Therefore, the next two terms of the original sequence will be (- 21 +49) = 28 and (28 - 64) = -36. (Answer)

Solve for xxx. Enter the solutions from least to greatest.
x^2 + x - 30 = 0x
2
+x−30=0
AfilCa [17]

Given:

The quadratic equation is:

x^2+x-30=0

To find:

The solutions of the given equation.

Solution:

We have,

x^2+x-30=0

Splitting the middle term, we get

x^2+6x-5x-30=0

x(x+6)-5(x+6)=0

(x+6)(x-5)=0

Using zero product property, we get

x+6=0 and x-5=0

x=-6 and x=5

Therefore, the solutions of the given quadratic equation are -6 and 5.

Which of the following tables represents a function?
Contact [7]

Answer:

x 2-2 3-3

y 5 5 7 7

Step-by-step explanation:

Each domain, or x value, can only be matched with one y value, so given this, the third one is the answer since every domain is only matched with one range, or in other words, there are no repeating domains in on the x row of the table.
