Based on what you have learned about appropriate and inappropriate responses, consider what Karen could have done to achieve a b

etter result. How might the three criteria for evaluating personal responses have helped her? Karen is waiting by the lockers before school for her friend Richard. They had agreed to look over the history review sheet together to be ready for the test later that day. Richard shows up late with uncombed hair and wrinkled clothes. Karen: "You're five minutes late and you look like a wreck!" Richard: (slams his locker) "You know, I don't have time for this." Karen: "Fine! Figure out the test on your own!" Explain what went wrong. Then, rewrite the scenario, showing how Karen can model appropriate communication skills and achieve a different result.

Karen could have talked to him in regular, calm voice and asked him nicely in different words on why he was late and why he didnt look so good. Richard overslept and should've slept earlier the night before and should've took the time to prepare himself for school and got his clothing ready the night before. The action that Karen took wasn't the best and it made the situation worse and Richard should've tried to explain instead of storming off.

kvv77 [185]

Your assessment of an unresponsive patient reveals that her breathing is inadequate. The most immediate action should be to check the airway of the patient for any obstruction.

What are the obstructions that one should be looking for in the airway in the case of inadequate breathing?

OSA is the most typical reason for chronic upper airway blockage in adults. Despite being less frequent, Behcet illness, TB, sarcoidosis, granulomatosis-associated polyangiitis, and granulomatosis are also possible reasons for laryngeal disease and consequent airway compromise. Inhaling or ingesting a foreign object, a small object getting stuck in the nose or mouth, an allergic reaction, airway trauma out of an accident, vocal cord problems, inhaling in a significant amount of smoke from a burn, viral infections, or bacterial infections are the most frequent causes of airway obstruction.

Do you think being physically fit is equally as important as dealing with your emotions properly ?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

This, I believe, is true.

Regular exercise has been shown to help those with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. It also helps you relax, improves your memory, sleep better, and improves your general mood. So, mental or physical health, which is more important? The connection between physical and mental health is complicated, but the solution is straightforward: your body requires both mental and physical health in order to function effectively and allow you to live a happy and healthy life. There is a correlation between a positive mental attitude and physical evidence of good health, according to research. Lower blood pressure, a lower chance of heart disease, and a healthy weight are just a few of the benefits.
