You have not given the data for which you like to find the median.

I will however explain how you can find the median of a given set of data, and you can apply the same method to your problem.

Step-by-step explanation:

Median, just like it sounds, is simply the middle value of a given set of data.

Given a set of numbers:

a, b, c, d, e, ..., z.

To find the median, first,

- Arrange the numbers a, b, c, d, e, ..., ..., z in an ascending or descending order.

- Count the whole numbers, if it is odd, you have a middle number, and that is the median.

If it is even, you have two middle numbers, then the median will be the addition of those two numbers divided by two.

Example: To find the median of

4, 5, 2, 1, 2, 6, 7, 3, 5.

First, we arrange in ascending:

1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7

Next, we locate the middle number(s), which is 4.

The MEDIAN is 4 .

Example 2: To find the median of

9, 4, 5, 2, 1, 2, 6, 7, 3, 5.

First, we arrange in ascending:

1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6, 7, 9

Next, we locate the middle number(2), which are 4 and 5.

The median = (4 + 5)/2

= 9/2

= 4.5

The MEDIAN is 4.5.

Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

Sharon

Step-by-step explanation:

The given parameters are;

The number of persons that rode on the small train = 5

The number of cars in the train = 5

The position Maren sat = Last car

The position Aaron sat = Directly behind Sharon

The position Darren sat = In one of the cars in front of Aaron

The position of one of the members = Between Karen and Darren

The given seating arrangement is as follows;

Maren → Aaron → Sharon → Darren → Karen

Therefore, the person who sat in the middle car is Sharon.

What is the equation in point slope form of the line that passes through the point (−1, −3) and has a slope of 4?
blondinia [14]

Answer: y + 3 = 4 (x +1 )

Step-by-step explanation:

The eqution of a line in point- slope form is given as :

y-y_{1} = m(x-x_{1} )

Where m is the slope and (x_{1} , y_{1}) is the given point

substituting the values into the formula , we have:

y - (-3) = 4 ( x - {-1) )

y + 3 = 4 ( x + 1)

This is the equation of the line in point-slope form.
