We can use long division in finding the remainder.

Place the divisor which is 41, outside the long division sign, and 694 under the long division sign as shown in the diagram.

41 goes into 694 16 times.

Write the 16 on top of the long division sign.

Multiply the 16 by 41, to obtain 656

Write the 656 below the 694 as in the diagram.

Subtract 656 from 694 to obtain 38.

Since 41 is more than 38 , we cannot proceed.

Hence,

\frac{694}{41}=16\:\:Remainder\:\:38

Therefore the remainder is 38

16... Remainder of 38

41 x 16 = 656 therefore 38 left over

What does the y intercept represent in distance vs time squared?
Evgen [1.6K]
The y represents the distance, remember time is the independent variable and distance is the dependent variable.

Another tip, when you see the title, such as distance vs time squared. The first term in the title always goes for the y axis and the second goes for the x axis.
I hope this answers your question!

Which is a quadrilateral that could have one pair of parallel sides and one pair of sides that are not parallel?
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

trapezoid.

Step-by-step explanation:

A trapezoid is a convex quadrilateral. A trapezoid has at least on pair of parallel sides. the parallel sides are called bases while the non parallel sides are called legs

Characteristics of a trapezoid

It has 4 vertices and edges

If both pairs of its opposite sides of a trapezoid are parallel, it becomes a parallelogram

Area of a trapezoid = \frac{1}{2} x (sum of the lengths of the parallel sides) x height

Perimeter =  sum of lengths of sides of a trapezoid

Answer:SOLUTION

The midpoint for two points P=(px,py) and Q=(qx,qy) is M=(px+qx2,py+qy2).

We have that px=1, py=3, qx=5, qy=1.

Thus, M=(1+52,3+12)=(3,2).
