Ben earns $9 per hour and $6 for each delivery he makes. He wants to earn more than $155 in an 8-hour workday. What is the least number of deliveries he must make to reach his goal? can you please explain how you got it thanks :)
1 answer:
so 9 times 8 is 72 so 155-72=83 and 83 divided by 6 equals 13.8333 but you can’t have .8333 delivery’s so you round it up to 14 so he needs to make at least 14 delivery’s to reach his goal of 155 delivery’s

Answer is C) 8/19 you do ((2*8)+3)/8 making it 19/8 and the reciprocal is the opposite of that answer, so 8/19
Greatest- 277,299 Smallest- 277,295 Btw I did this by tens.
the length of a leg on a 45-45-90 triangle given the hypotenuse is half the length of the hypotenuse times sqrt(2)
hypotenuse = 10
10/2 =5
so the answer should be 5sqrt(2), which I don't see as a choice
