Well First of all let's set up an equation for this problem.
It starts off by charging $2 which is our y intercept
and for every ride it's .50 cents so that would be our slope.
This problem can be put into
y=mx+b
or as called slope intercept form
mx= .50 because is the rate of change and b=2 because it's what we start y=10 because it's what Tamara budget is
so the equation would be
10=.50x+2
all we have to do now is solve for x
x would be 16
So Tamara can go on 16 rides with $10

Hello!

I just completed this test and if I'm correct in assuming that this is the same problem I did, then your answer would be 18 cm.

Hope this helps! :)

The official run time of a movie is 140 minutes.Your friend who has seen the movie says its about 2.3 hours
Elza [17]
A.
1 hour = 60 minutes ;
2 hour s= 120 minutes;
140 - 120 = 20 minutes ;
20 = 60 ÷ 3 ;
20 minutes represents ( 1 / 3 ) hour;
Then, 140 minutes represents 2 1 / 3 hours ;
2 1 / 3 = 7 / 3 = 2.(3) ;
B.
2.(3) > 2.3 ;
your friend underestimate the length of the movie ;
