Answer:

New England produces Milk and Middle Colonies produces Barley is correct.

Explanation:

New England's opportunity cost of producing barley= 4/3 = 1.33 ton of milk

New England's opportunity cost of producing Milk = 3/4= 0.75 ton of barley.

Because New England has lower opportunity in the production of Milk .Therefore,it has the comparative advantage in the production of Milk. Hence, New england produces Milk.

Similarly, Middle Colonies's opportunity cost of producing Barley= 5/6= 0.83 ton of milk.

And Middle colonies opportunity cost of producing Milk= 6/5= 1.2 ton of barley.

Because Middle colonies opportunity cost in the production of Barley . Therefore, it has the comparative advantage in the production of Barley. Hence, Middle colonies produces Barley.

Hence, option(C) i.e New England produces Milk and Middle Colonies produces Barley is correct.

We discussed the invasions of the Roman world by various Germanic tribes in the fifth century and the Arab-Islamic conquests of
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

The invaders were able to govern the more advanced civilizations because they adopted most of the conquered civilizations' customs, rules of governance, and even languages and religion.

For example, in the case of the Germanic tribes that conquered the Western Roman Empire, the rulers adopted, one by one, the religion of the Roman Empire: Christianity, more specifically, the Roman Catholic variant.

They also began to use the language of the Empire: Latin, for ecclessiastical and political matters, and while political institutions did change a lot, some of the political institutions of the Empire did survive in the sucessor states that the Germanic rulers carved out of the Roman territory.

What are mutual funds? Explain the associated risks.
ipn [44]

Answer:

A mutual fund is an investment program funded by shareholders that trades in diversified holdings and is professionally managed.

Risks:

The level of risk in a mutual fund depends on what it invests in. Stocks are generally riskier than bonds, so an equity fund tends to be riskier than a fixed income fund. Plus some specialty mutual funds focus on certain kinds of investments, such as emerging markets, to try to earn a higher return. These kinds of funds also tend to have a greater risk of a larger drop in value—yet the greater the risk, the greater the reward (or potential for higher returns).

Risks of Investing in Equity Mutual Funds The below are a few key risks involved with investing in equity funds: Volatility Risk: An equity fund invests primarily in the shares of companies listed on stock exchanges. Thus, the value of an equity fund is directly related to the performance of companies, in stocks of which it has invested.
