In the American Civil War which was a conflict between the Union or Northern states and the Coferederation or Southern states, the battle of Gettysburg was considered as one of the most important battles that defined the result of all the war. This battle took place in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on July of 1863 and during this, the Union defeated the Confederates and made the soldiers of the Southern states retreat and surrender after three days of battle which led to the victory of the Union in the Civil War. Thus, it was the Battle of Gettysburg the one that was a major victory for the Union.
