Answer:

1. y + 10 - 3/2y = -y/2 + 10

2. 2r+ 7r-r - 9 = 8r - 9

3.  7 + 4p-5+p+2q = 2 + 5p + 2q

Step-by-step explanation:

basically you can add terms that have the same variable

integers can be added together, Xs can be added, Zs, Ys, As, Bs, Cs, you get the point

1. y + 10 - 3/2y = -y/2 + 10

2. 2r+ 7r-r - 9 = 8r - 9

3.  7 + 4p-5+p+2q = 2 + 5p + 2q (do not add different variables p and q ) together

try 4-6 on your own to get this skill down, if you need help with those just let me know

GETS BRAINLIEST AND 50 PTS!
FromTheMoon [43]
If the diameter is 3 feet, then the radius is 1.5 feet. Area of a circle = pi * radius squared or A =  \pi r^{2}

A = pi * (1.5)²
A = pi * 2.25
A = 3.14 * 2.25
A = 7.065 ≈ 7.1

7.1 feet² is your answer.

Talia is packing a moving box. She has a square-framed poster with an area of 4 square feet. The cube-shaped box has a volume
nasty-shy [4]

The volume of a cube = e^3

e = a single edge of the cube.

Area of a square = a^2

a = a single side of the square.

The volume of our cube = 13 ft^3

e = \sqrt[3]{13} = 2.35 ft

The area of our square =  4 ft^2

a = \sqrt{4} = 2 ft

The edge of our cube is greater than the length of our square's side.

The poster will lie flat in the box.

Find the average distance each data value in the set is from the mean. Round
lara [203]

Answer:

the average distance from the mean is:

                       $ 7.2

step-by-step explanation:

we are given data points as:

$7, $20 , $9 , $35 , $12 , $15 , $7 , $10 , $20 , $25 , $7 , $20 , $9 , $35 , $12 , $15 , $7 , $10 , $20 , $25

the mean of the data set is:

now we are asked to find the average distance from the mean or mad of the data.

the absolute difference of each data point from mean is calculated as follows:

|7-16|=9

|20-16|=4

|9-16|=7

|35-16|=19

|12-16|=4

|15-16|=1

|7-16|=9

|10-16|=6

|20-16|=4

|25-16|=9

|7-16|=9

|20-16|=4

|9-16|=7

|35-16|=19

|12-16|=4

|15-16|=1

|7-16|=9

|10-16|=6

|20-16|=4

|25-16|=9

the answer is: $ 7.2

Marlene wants to know the height of a nearby tree the trees casting a shadow that is 13 ft long. Marlene places a yard stick per
ikadub [295]
If the unit you’re doing is similar polygons/triangles, then the tree is 19.5 ft tall. *** I’m from Canada so I’m not quite sure what a yardstick is but I’m assuming it’s a yard which is 3 ft so that’s what I used in my calculations lol
