21.19%

First you need to find the z-score with

X- Mean
-----------       =  Zscore
Standard
Deviation

Then use your z table (should be on your formula sheet if not look one up)
to find your proportion (in this problem it would be .2119)  and convert it to a percent.

So plug everything in

6.64-7.2
------------ = Z-Score
     .7

Z-Score= 0.8

The table showed our proportion to be .2119

therefore your percent is 21.19%

The equation of a line is 4x−3y=−24 .
Ludmilka [50]

Answer:

x = - 6

Step-by-step explanation:

The x-intercept is when y =0, you are looking for a point (x, 0)

So you replace y = 0 in the equation

4x - 3y = - 24

4x - 3(0) = - 24

4x = - 24

x = - 6

One-fourth of a number increased by thirteen is less than two.
finlep [7]

Answer: x < -44

Step-by-step explanation:

alright my fellow dude gamer, i want you to know that "a number" is basically just x

so lets do this

\frac{1}{4}x + 13 < 2

ok now we are going to solve for x, no?

\frac{1}{4}x < -11

i just subtracted 13 from both sides

now we divide -11 by 1/4

x < -44

MAGIC! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! OH MY GOODNESS AHHHHHHH

In June 2005, a CBS News/NY Times poll asked a random sample of 1,111 U.S. adults the following question: "What do you think is
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

The appropriate null hypothesis is H_0: p = 0.25

The appropriate alternative hypothesis is H_1: p < 0.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Exactly a year prior to this poll, in June of 2004, it was estimated that roughly 1 out of every 4 U.S. adults believed (at that time) that the war in Iraq was the most important problem facing the country.

At the null hypothesis, we test if the proportion is still the same, that is, of \frac{1}{4} = 0.25. So

H_0: p = 0.25

We would like to test whether the 2005 poll provides significant evidence that the proportion of U.S. adults who believe that the war in Iraq is the most important problem facing the U.S. has decreased since the prior poll.

Decreased, so at the alternative hypothesis, it is tested if the proportion is less than 0.25, that is:

H_1: p < 0.25
