Which of the following is not a power of congress
mart [117]

Answer:

At its creation in 1789, the legislative branch was the most innovative.

Rule by kings and emperors was an old style of

government, and the legislature in many ways represented the new. Almost certainly, the founders intended Congress to have more important powers than the President and the Supreme Court. However, they placed many checks and balances on the legislature that have prevented absolute power in the hands of one branch. Founders controlled power not only by checks from the other branches, but by creating a bicameral, or two house, Congress — the SENATE and the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The powers of Congress, then, are both constitutional and evolutionary.

Predict what will be observed in each experiment below. experiment predicted observation (choose one) A student sees tiny bubble
Svet_ta [14]

Answer: In the first Experiment, when the student opens the bottle and the gas escaped, it may escape with some portion of the soft drink, as it is under pressure, then the bubble will shrink and some may vanish. This is because the gas under pressure has escaped from the drink, thereby reducing the pressure in the drink.

For the second Experiment, when the student squeeze the bottle, he will increase the pressure of the gas in the soft drink, which makes the bubbles to grow and some will appear. This is because the squeezing of the bottle has tend to increase the motion of the gas in the bottle, which made the pressure to increase, and more bubbles to appear.

Explanation: bubbles in a drink is as a result of increase in the pressure of the gas in the drink. This gas will rise to the top of the bottle, as their want to escape from the bottle, their will rise with some portion of the drink, which we see as bubbles in the drink.

Choose any two countries in the world, and briefly discuss the evolution of the government of these countries.
victus00 [196]

The correct answer is, let’s take the cases of Mexico and Argentina.

Mexico has had a major change of power in the presidency in the last elections of 2018, with the victory of a left-sided party called MORENA. The Revolutionary Party (PRI) governed the country for 70 years. It lost the presidency for the first time in 2000 to the right-sided party called National Action (PAN). In 2012, and due to the bad conditions of the country, official national party PRI won again and had 6 disastrous years that made people angry. Andres Manuel Lopez from MORENA left-sided party won the elections in 2018 with a record-setting 53% of the votes.

The case of Argentina is more critical. The economic situation is very poor and people is getting angry. Since 1991 that the Argentina peso pegged the dollar, things have been worse. President Carlos Menem had two terms both the economic conditions did not improve. The next presidents, Fernando de la Rua and Nestor Kirchner couldn’t do so much and the economy stayed in recession. In a controversial decision, Cristina Kirchnner, wife of former president Nestor, won the election and at the end of her tenure, she was accused of mismanaging of national resources. Mauricio Macri is the actual President and has taken controversial measures that had reduced the money in people’s pockets.
