Answer:

The phrase is a metaphor as running is a fun experience and can be associated with laughter.

Explanation:

the phrase insinuates that the narrator is so free and happy in the poem's narrative that she is able to laugh from her legs. this is because she is absolutely free to run wherever she wants to run to and has no bounds hence the running becomes an enjoyable activity that one would do laughing.

A metaphor is when a word is when a word or a phrase gets associated with an action or an object with which it does not make sense and in the process derives new meaning. here, laughing from the feet is a clear example.

What made life difficult for Hispanics in the American Southwest in the late 1800s?
maks197457 [2]

Answer:

B. They were often pushed into low-paying jobs with poor working conditions.

Explanation:

After the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848, which ended the Mexican-American War, nearly 75,000 Mexicans living in the American Southwest received US citizenship. That didn't guarantee that they would have no problems, though. The main problem they faced was that the white settlers forced them out of their land and jobs, sometimes even by force. The government didn't pay attention to the fact they couldn't return to their own land, and whenever such matters reached court, judges and lawyers would have a Mexican American landowner spend every bit of money he had.

Besides that, Mexican Americans were forced to take the worst-paying jobs with the worst conditions, often working almost like salves, cattle herders, and cartmen, or undertaking dangerous mining tasks.

In your opnion we as humans follow “mother nature’s” rules on population?
Radda [10]

Answer:

No we don't.

Explanation:

Us humans keep reproducing without a care in the world. Some newborns make it out alive to get a chance in life and some die. It is the circle of life for us. Out of the womb into the tomb. We don't follow the rules of mother nature because we are dealing with better things (jobs, school, etc.)
