You have to divide to find the nearest square foot. first, think of a multiplication, for example: 5x_=60. you resight the multiplication chart of 5. you founded out it was 12. check if it is 12, use your calculator( or phone, if you dont have a calculator). its correct. so your answer is 12 that is the nearest square foot. .

Hope it helps you in your assignment!

The length of the brace required is 4.3m

What is sine rule?

In a ΔABC a, b and c are the sides and A, B and C are angles then,

\frac{a}{SinA}=\frac{b}{sinB}=\frac{c}{sinC}

We can find the length, l as shown below:

Let AB=3m, BC=2m and AC=l

Let ∠A=25°

So, in ΔABC

\frac{BC}{sinA}=\frac{AB}{sinC}=\frac{AC}{SinB}

\frac{BC}{sinA}=\frac{AB}{sinC}

\frac{2}{sin25}=\frac{3}{sinC}

\angle{C}=sin^{-1}(\frac{3\times sin25}{2} )

∠C=39.34°

∠A+∠B+∠C=180°

∠B=180°-25°-39.34°

∠B=115.66°

\frac{BC}{sinA}=\frac{AC}{SinB}

\frac{2}{sin25}=\frac{l}{sin(115.66)}

l=\frac{2\times sin(115.66)}{sin25}

l=4.2659

Rounding to nearest tenth of meter.

l=4.3m

Hence, the length of the brace required is 4.3m

Answer:

C. 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

The graph descends from the left  so the coefficient of the leading term is negative. It is also a cubic equation with zeros of -20, about 6.5 and about 13. so we can write the equation as below.  The last 2 values can only be guessed because the x axis only shows values which are multiples of 5.

f(x) = a(x + 20)(x - 6.5)(x - 13)   where a is  a negative constant.

(This is only an approximation).

By the Remainder theorem, when the expression is divided by (x + 10):

f(-10) = -20 so we have

-20 = a (-10 + 20)(-10-6.5)(-10 - 13)

(10)(-16.5)(-23)a = -20

a = -20 / (10)(-16.5)(-23)

a = -0.0053

When  the equation is divided by (x - 10) then f(10)  is the remainder so substituting we have as the remainder:

-0.0053(10+20)(10-6.5)(10 -13)

-0.0053 * 30 * 3.5 * -3

= 1.7 approximately.

Looks like the answer is 2.
