Answer:

\large\boxed{Q2.\qquad C.\ -2x+y=-2}\\\boxed{Q4.\qquad C.\ y=3x+12}

Step-by-step explanation:

Q2:

The point-slope form of an equation of a line:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

m - slope

The formula of a slope:

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

We have the points (4, 6) and (6, 10). Substitute:

m=\dfrac{10-6}{6-4}=\dfrac{4}{2}=2

y-6=2(x-4)           <em>use distributive property</em>

y-6=2x-8      <em>add 6 to both sides</em>

y=2x-2          <em>subteact 2 from both sides</em>

-2x+y=-2

Q4:

The slope-intercept form of an equation of a line:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

Put the slope m = 3 and the coordinateso f the point (-2, 6) to the point-slope form of an equation of a line:

y-6=3(x-(-2))

y-6=3(x+2)         <em>use distributive property</em>

y-6=3x+6     <em>add 6 to both sides</em>

y=3x+12

The model of a shopping mall is made using a scale of 1: 50
jekas [21]

Answer:

20 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Scale of 1 : 50 is used to make a model

If the model has a height of 40 cm ; the height of the house is:

Then, the actual height of the house is (40 * 50) = 2000 cm

Thus the height of the house in metre is :

100cm = 1 meter

2000 cm = 2000 / 100

2000 cm = 20 meter

Height of house in meter = 20 meter

What is m∠2 + m∠3? <br> m∠2 + m∠3 =?
Serga [27]

Let's start with m∠1. m∠1 <em>has </em>to be 90º because line segment AB is perpendicular with line segment AC, as it shows a right angle symbol on the angle beside m∠1. Now that we know that, it will be much easier to find m∠2 and m∠3 because m∠1,  m∠2 and m∠3 are part of the triangle formed in the middle, and all angles in a triangle add up to 180º. 180-90 is 90, therefore, m∠2 +m∠3=90º so all three angles add up to 180º. You don't even have to find the specific angle measurements.

Hope this helps. I also attached a (rather poorly edited) image.
