Given the isosceles measures 50, 50 and 80. The angle measures of the image after:
Translation will be the similar as that of the pre image, that means they will retain the same value of 50, 50 and 80.
The answer is yes.

Rotation will be similar to that of the preimage. This is because rotation of the figure will only affect the position of the original figure and not the size of the figure. Therefore the size of the angles will be 50, 50 and 80.

Reflection will be the same as that of the preimage, reason being the reflected figure always has the same size as the object and it is always same distance as the preimage is in front of the mirror.

A line passes through (0,4) and (3,0). Which equation does not represent the equation of this line?
Olenka [21]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

use both points to find the slope using the equation

y2-y1/x2-x1, so , -2-4/2-0 = -6/2 = -3. slope or m = -3

then the y int can be any y point, so either -2 or 4. in this case they used 4.

A person accidentally drops her phone off a side balcony of a building. The height of the phone as it drops can be modeled with
ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer:

It takes 2.24 s for the phone to land.

Step-by-step explanation:

The height of the phone as it drops can be modeled with the equation

h= -16t²+80

where h is measured in feet and t represents the number of seconds since the phone was dropped.

When the phone hits the ground then height of the phone becomes zero.

i.e h=0

-16t²+80=0

⇒16t²=80

\Rightarrow t^2=\frac{80}{16}

⇒ t² =5

\Rightarrow t=\pm\sqrt 5

∴t=2.24 s  [ since time can not negative]

It takes 2.24 s for the phone to land.

svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

  • n = 7, x = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

The top and bottom segments have same length.

a)

  • n + n + 19 = 33
  • 2n + 19 = 33
  • 2n = 33 - 19
  • 2n = 14
  • n = 14/2
  • n = 7

b)

  • x + x + x + 3 = 30
  • 3x = 30 - 3
  • 3x = 27
  • x = 27/3
  • x = 9

Ms. Swanson asked the question, "How does knowing the fact 6 × 5 6×5 help you find 60 × 500 60×500?" Maria answered, "I know 6 ×
Allushta [10]

Answer:

Correct answer is 30,000

Step-by-step explanation:

From multiplication :

6 * 5 = 30

Now moving to:

60 * 500

Number of ending zeros in both values = 3 ; (000)

This 3 0's will be placed at the end of the result of multiplying 6 by 5

Hence,

6 * 5 = 30

60 * 500 = 30+000 = 30,000

Hence, 60 * 500 = 30000

adoni [48]

Answer:

solution: x= 0.273, y= 1.909.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • given system of linear equations : x+3y=64x−6y=6
  • these can also be splitted or written individually as:

x+3y=6     &   64x−6y=6

  • the first equation can also be written as, y=2-\frac{x}{3}

so,  it is line with slope : -1/3 and y-intercept :2

  • the second equation can also be written as, y=\frac{32x}{3} -1

so,  it is line with slope : 32/3 and y-intercept :   -1

  • now we can easily draw graphs for these equations using the above interpretation.
  • graph is in the attachment.
  • so, the solution is:  x= 0.273, y= 1.909.
