Answer with explanation:

Number of Sections in which Spinner is divided = Red +Blue

Set of possible outcomes when the spinner is spun twice is S = {RR, RB, BR, BB}

x=Number of times blue Occurs

   ={0,1,2}

→→Probability Distribution of , x

x=0, blue has Occurred none out of 4 possible Outcomes when the spinner is spun twice.={BB}

x=1, blue has Occurred once out of 4 possible Outcomes when the spinner is spun twice.={RB,BR}

x=2, blue has Occurred twice out of 4 possible Outcomes when the spinner is spun twice.={RR}

P(X)_{x=0}=\frac{\text{Total favorable outcome}}{\text{Total favorable outcome}}\\\\=\frac{BB}{(RR+ RB+ BR+ BB)}\\\\=\frac{1}{4}\\\\P(X)_{x=1}=\frac{RB+BR}{(RR+ RB+ BR+ BB)}\\\\P(X)_{x=1}=\frac{2}{4}\\\\P(X)_{x=1}=\frac{1}{2}\\\\P(X)_{x=2}=\frac{RR}{(RR+ RB+ BR+ BB)}\\\\P(X)_{x=2}=\frac{1}{4}

→Probability Distribution of , x

[x=0,1,2].[P(X)=(\frac{1}{4},\frac{1}{2},\frac{1}{4})]

In a triangle with a perimeter of 34 m, the first side is 3 m shorter than the second. the third side is 4 m longer than the sec
lubasha [3.4K]
Imagine he second side is x so the first side is (x-3) and the third side is (x+4)
So x + (x-3) + (x+4) = 34
3x+1 = 34
3x=33
X=11
So longest side is (x+4) so 11+4=15

Answer:

Olga

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate average speed we can compare their hourly rate

Trisha ran 10km in 2.5 hours which is equal to 4km in an hour

Jason ran 7.5km in 2 hours which is equal to <em>3.75km an hour</em>

Olga ran 9.5km in 2.25 hours which is equal to <u>4.2 an hour</u> approximately

What is the area of the figure?? HELP PLS!!
Alchen [17]
Hi!

I've included an image showing the shape divided into 3 rectangles. We're going to find the area of each rectangle.

To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length times the width.

The red rectangle:

8 · 9 = 72
The area of the red rectangle is 72in.

The orange rectangles:

The orange rectangles have the same area.
10 · 3 = 30
30 + 30 = 60
The area of both orange rectangles is 60in.

72 + 60 = 132

The answer is 132 square inches.

Hope this helps! :)

HELP ASAP Use the data below
beks73 [17]

Answer:

Part A:

   -Minimum: 10

   -Q1: 17.5

   -Median: 30

   -Q3: 42.5

   -Maximum: 50

Step-by-step explanation:

Part B: IQR= 25

This shows that the data varies for 25 different numbers. That HALF of the data is between 25 numbers.

Part C: Using a box-and-whisker plot you can interpret the different values. Minimum is the first dot (10), connected to the first line (Q1 which is 17.5), connected by a box to the median (30), connected by a box to the third line (Q3 which is 42.5), connected to the last dot which is the maximum (50). And IQR is Q3-Q1, so 42.5-17.5 which is 25.
