The only difference between the two following expressions is their exponent though it’s equal. If you would analyze carefully, the two expressions are equal since 2/4 is just equal to ½. The two expressions are equal in value so the presentation of the exponent is their only difference.

The sum of three consecutive even integers is 90. Find the Integers.
kvv77 [185]

Answer:28,30,32

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of three consecutive even integers is 90. Find the Integers.

N= first even number we need to find

N+2= second even number

N+4= third even number

90= is the sum of all 3 even integers

N+n+2+n+4=90

Add all n together

3n+2+4=90

Add 2 plus 4

3n+6=90

Subtract 6 bith sides

3n=90-6

Subtract 90 from 6

3n= 84

Divide 3 both sides

3n/3=84/3

Divide 84 by 3 to solve for n

N= 28

So furst even number is 28. Now to find second and third number substitute 28 into the bext two equations .

N+2=? For second numb.

28+2=30 second number

N+4=? For third number

28+4=32 for third number

To check add all 3 answers

28+30+32=90

58+32=90

90=90 it checks

So three even numbers are 28,30,32
