Volume is Length x width x height divided by 3. You have the length and the width. which equals 24. (6x4). The volume that is present is 72... the last thing you do in the equation is divide by three so multiply 72 by 3 and get 216. This is the LxWxH. Like I said before you have the L and the W, which is 24. You would divide 24 from 216. The Height is 9cm.

<em>Answer,</em>

<em>Height = </em><em>9</em>

<em>Explanation,</em>

<em><u>72 x 3 = 216</u></em>

<em><u>6 x 4 = 24 </u></em>

<em><u>24 x 9 = 216</u></em>

<em>In calculating the volume of a shape the eqation is, </em><em><u>V = LWH/ 3</u></em>

<em>216/3 = </em><em>72</em>

) Three sides of a quadrilateral are the same length, q. The length of the fourth side is 7 inches.
Kruka [31]

Answer:

q=(40-7)/3 or simplified q=11

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that the perimeter is 40 inches and one of the sides is 7 so logically we do 40-7 to get the length of the three remaining sides combined. Then to find the length q, we have to divide that answer by 3 because the three sides have the same length or (40-7)/3, which simplified is 11, so the length of the side is 11 inches and the expression is q=(40-7)/3.

I need help with this question
tia_tia [17]

Answer:

98 in.^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The lateral area is the sum of the areas of the 3 rectangular sides.

The triangular sides are the bases.

lateral area = 7.2 in. * 5 in. + 3 in. * 5 in. + 9.4 in. * 5 in.

lateral area = 36 in.^2 + 15 in.^2 + 47 in.^2

lateral area = 98 in.^2

Suppose the circumference of a circle is 4, pi. What is its diameter?
Vilka [71]
Your answer would be 4, because the equation for the circumference of a circle is π × diameter, so if you have 4 × π as the circumference, then 4 is the diameter.

I hope this helps!
