10 divided by 3/5 = 10 x 5/3 = 50/3 = 16 and 2/3 bowls.

That's the mathematical answer.  In the real-world pottery shop, he can
make 16 complete bowls, and have 2/5 pound of clay left over.

We are writing proportion:
\frac{3}{5} of a pound of clay -1 bowl
10 pound of clay - x bowl
We are looking for x which is amount of bowl
After cross multiplication:
\frac{3}{5}x=10
x=\frac{50}{3}=16,66 ,so from 10 pounds we will make 16 bowls.

Question 7 options:<br><br> 2/3<br><br><br> 2<br><br><br> 8/27<br><br><br> 3
topjm [15]

Answer:

2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

If 2/3 · x= 4/9 then 4/9 ÷ 2/3= x

KCF (Keep Change Flip)

Keep 4/9

4/9 ÷ 2/3

Change from division to multiplication

4/9 · 2/3

Flip 2/3 to 3/2

4/9 · 3/2

Multiply 4 · 3= 12

Multiply 9 · 2= 18

Simplify

12 ÷ 6= 2

18 ÷ 6= 3

x=2/3

Recall the chapter example which described the fact that the mean IQ in large, diverse populations is 100 and the standard devia
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

The margin of error for the 99% confidence level for this sample is ±2.23.

None of the given figures is close to the answer:

E. None of the above

Step-by-step explanation:

margin of error (ME) around the mean can be calculated using the formula

ME=\frac{z*s}{\sqrt{N} } where

  • z is the corresponding statistic of the 99% confidence level (2.576)
  • s is the population IQ standard deviation (15)
  • N is the sample size (300)

Using these numbers we get:

ME=\frac{2.576*15}{\sqrt{300} }  ≈ 2.23
