Karen and her sister Tina want to get a pet. However, Karen wants a turtle and Tina wants a dog. Their parents tell them to flip 3 coins to choose which pet they get. What is a fair way of choosing using all 3 coins? Please help!!

Flip them all @ the same time! One coin for each sister and one for a parent or in the hand of the other sister. One sister can have heads or turtle and the other can have tails or dog.
