Globalization has created advantages for companies and consumers, but it also has resulted in disadvantages for the environment.

Envirmental issue
- More consumerism wil give more transport
=> more CO2 in the atmosphere
- International companies will often give competition to local farmers who may end up jobless.
- Variety to food is reduced=> infresh
- Standards of recycling will change
Global efforts
- increasing levels of toxic and green house gasses is a global problem
- Poor countries will suffer the most as they have inadvanced technology
- Rising sealevel
- More storm and drough
- Farmers will have to acclimate to a new climate
