A consumer life being is an organism that can't produce its own source of food, so they have to rely on some other life form to feed. Option a) the tree is not a consumer because it can feed itself by himself performing photosynthesis.

b) option fungi, isn't a consumer even though it can't perform photosynthesis. But they also don't eat other live animals or plants. They are decomposer and feed themselves by getting nutrients from dead animals or plants. They are not consumers because they eat waste, that is the reason to call them Decomposers because they eat after all the consumers take energy from plants and animals.

c) Sun, the sun is not considered a biological consumer even though it grabs with gravity all its near objects and destroys them. The sun is not composed of any biological element and that is why it is not considered a living being.

d) the bee is the correct answer because it feeds from nectar and pollen from plants. They don't eat other animals, the ones that do it are wasps. So bees are consumers.
