Why do some ppl consider the way media cover candidates for public office bad for democracy.
DaniilM [7]
Some people consider the way the media covers candidates for public office bad for democracy due to the way they present the facts and evidence. e.g. Whenever Donald Trump was running for presidency they constantly reported on his sexual abuse accusations instead of his good deeds and samaritan actions. He helped in the recovery from the flood in Louisiana and sent food and shelter for the suffering families, but you never heard that on the news... They broadcast the information in a way that will attract the most viewers, not in a way that delivers the most factual and true information.

What country led in trying to stop Communism after World War II?
alexdok [17]
The country that tried to stop the spread of Communism would be the United States. After World War II, the United States saw the threat that Communism posed on the world, so they adopted policies to prevent the spread of it. These policies were known as containment because they were trying to contain the spread of Communism. This fueled the fire in what would be known as the Cold War, which was a time of heightened aggression between the United States and the Soviet Union. I hope this helps :)

what were some similarities between the Cold War and Korean War? Could the United States have handled either one of them differe
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

Both the Cold war and the Korean war are fought on the same ideology and principle.

Explanation:

The Korean war was important to the both the countries - United States and the USSR to show their supremacy. The Korean war is quite similar to the Cold war. The Korean war was considered as an important development in the Cold war as it was for the first time both the super powers of the world fought a "proxy war" in a third country. The ideology behind the war of communism and democracy and the confrontations of the two countries were same in the two wars. The war was fought by the communist North Kora supported by the USSR and China and the Democrat South Korea supported by USA and UK.

America handled both the war equally with the help of other democrat countries. Americas policy was to always support and spread democracy around the world. The Korea war was a proxy war for the Cold war.

Which speakers statement best reflects the ideas of the enlightenment
Nikolay [14]
I found some of the missing information about this question.

Speaker A: Good government stresses the importance of the nation and accepts the rights of the individual only if the interests of the individual are the same as those of the nation.

Speaker B: The person of the king is sacred and to attack him in any way is to attack religion itself. The respect given to a king is religious in nature.

Speaker C: All human beings are born free and equal with a right to life and liberty. It is the duty of government to protect these natural rights of its citizens.

<span>Speaker D: Our goal will not be achieved by democracy or liberal reforms, but by blood and iron. Only then will we be successful. No nation achieves greatness or unity without the traumatic experiences of war.
