I believe that the United States is more like the Athens government considering Athens had the first democratic government system, and Rome had more of a monarchy type.

I can’t think one single thing that has all of these things but if you need one for each type of radiation here:

Microwave: microwave (the thing that heats up your food)
Radio: can be found in cell phones
Infrared: remote controls
Visible light: rainbows
Ultraviolet: the sun
X-ray: an x-ray
Gamma ray: metal detector
