Answer:

there is no one step equation becuz

x+9 = 21

take 9 to the other side becos both are same variables then

21-9 = x

hence x= 12

next x=11 question can't be answered becuz this is not a complete question

2x+9 = 21

21-9 = 2x

12=2x

x=

12

-----

2

hwnce 12/2 = 6 therefore x= 6

What is the domain of the function y = -4x+1 if the range is -11
a_sh-v [17]

The range of a function is the set of all values that it can take when its independent variable takes values on the domain.

On the other hand, the range of a function is the domain of its inverse function, if that inverse exists, and vice-versa: the domain of a function is the range of its inverse function, if that inverse exists.

In the case of the given equation:

y=-4x+1

The inverse function exists since the function is linear, and it can be found by isolating <em>x</em>:

x=-\frac{1}{4}(y-1)

If the range of the original function is the set given by the number {

4% is not equivalent to 40%
0.4 is equivalent to 40%.  Just move the decimal two places to the right.
2/5 is equivalent to 0.4,  which in turn is equivalent to 40%.  2 divided by 5=0.4
