In Marissa's calculus course, attendance counts for 15% of the grade, quizzes count for 20% of the grade, exams count for

50% of the grade, and the final exam counts for 15% of the grade. Marissa had a 100% average for attendance, 93% for quizzes, 82% for exams, and 85% on the final. Determine Marissa's course average.

Answer:

Her average was 87.35% on this course.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to determine Marissa's average we need to take the average she has on each of the cattegories and find how much that relates to the weight of the cattegory on the final grade. We have:

Attendance counts for 15% of the grade and she has 100% average on that. So we have:

attendance = weight*(Marissa's average)

attendance = 15%*(100/100) = 15%

Quizzes counts for 20% of the grade and she has a 93% average on that. So we have:

Quizzes = weigth*(Marissa's average)

Quizzes = 20%*(93/100) = 18.6 %

Exams counts for 50% of the grade and she has a 82% average on that. So we have:

Exams = weigth*(Marissa's average)

Exams = 50%*(82/100) = 41%

The final exam counts for 15% of the grade and she has a average of 85% on that so we have:

Finals = 15%*(85/100) = 12.75%

So her grade is the sum of all the cattegories:

Course's average = 15+18.6+41+12.75 = 87.35 %

Answer:

Marissa's course's average= = 87.35 %

Step-by-step explanation:

To find Marissa's average , we can determine the average of each section by taking the product of the weight and Marissa's average from the given data.

15% of the grade for attendance and a 100% average for attendance

therefore, attendance = weight x (Marissa's average)

attendance = 15%*(100/100) = 15%

Quizzes counts for 20% of the grade and she had 93% for quizzes.

therefore, Quizzes = weigthx (Marissa's average)

Quizzes = 20%*(93/100) = 18.6 %

Exams counts for 50% of the grade and she had 82% for exams

therefore, Exams = weight x(Marissa's average)

Exams = 50%*(82/100) = 41%

The final exam counts for 15% of the grade and she had 85% average on the final.

therefore, Finals = 15%*(85/100) = 12.75%

Next is to add all the sections in order to determine Marissa's course average.

Marissa's course's average = 15+18.6+41+12.75

Marissa's course's average= = 87.35 %

Hallar el valor de ab datos: bc= 4,5 cm de= 2cm ef= 3 cm
kakasveta [241]

The measure of ab and df are 3cm and 7.5cm respectively

Similarity theorem of shapes

In order to determine the missing sides, we need to take the ratio of the similar sides as shown:

1) ab/de = ac/df

ab/de = ab+bc/df

Substitute the given values

ab/2 = ab+4.5/2+3

ab/2 = ab+4.5/5

2(ab+4.5) = 5ab
2ab+9=5ab

3ab = 9

ab = 3cm

Hence the measure of ab is 3cm

2) ae/ce = bf/df

24/9 = 20/df

24df =. 9(20)

24df = 180

df = 7.5cm

Hence the measure of ab and df are 3cm and 7.5cm respectively

\large\underline{\underline{\red{\rm\blue{\longmapsto} Step-by-step\: Explanation:-}}}

Given to points to us are :-

 • ( 3 , -6 )
 • ( -1 , -8 )

( As these are plotted on graph with yellow dots .)

Now , we can use Distance Formula , which is :-

\boxed{\pink{\tt Distance=\sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}}}

Here ,

 • x1 = 3 .
 • x2 = -1.
 • y1 = (-6)
 • y2 = (-8).

→ Substituting the respective values ,

⇒ Distance = √ [ { 3 - (-1)}² + { -6 -(-8)²} ] .

⇒ Distance = √ (3+1)² + (8-6)²

⇒ Distance = √ 4² + 2²

⇒ Distance = √ 16 + 4

⇒ Distance = √20 = √4 × √5

⇒ Distance = 4√5units .

Hence the distance between two points is 4√5u.
