An accurate definition of an authoritarian government is when choices of an individual's personal life and public life is greatly interfered and manipulated with, as according to the government's wish. 
<span>   Most of the current governments in countries are authoritarian to some degree or other, only the intensity and extent seems to change. Some of the countries where authoritarian government is very obvious are North Korea, Saudi Arabia, China, and Iran(to a point )</span>
