Answer:

Before the starts of menstrual cycle and after the ovulation, the hormone levels are at their highest and most active.

Explanation:

Before evolution of egg, the estrogen level is at its peak and just after the surge , the estrogen level decreases and the progesterone level starts increasing.

As the menstrual cycle starts, progesterone level is at its peaks and by the end of the cycle, its level decreases

In the luteal phase, level of both luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone reduces.

Hence it is before ovulation and after ovulation when the hormone level is the highest

LIST AT LEAST THREE EXAMPLES OF HOW MICROBIAL PHOTOTROPHS ARE IMPORTANT CLINICALLY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY
zaharov [31]
Cyanobacteria are primitive organisms where chloroplasts are believed to be originated. These phototrophic organisms benefit the environmental and the clinical aspects because of their unique physiology. For instance, they contribute to energy attainment from sunlight which helps other organisms gain energy when this is consumed. Another is the contribution to biogeochemical cycles. And lastly, how these can aid in many medical discoveries and treatments.

Sperm are created through meiosis in an area of the testes called the seminiferous tubules. Through which structure do the sperm
Alborosie

Answer:

Epididymis

Explanation:

From the testes, the sperms travel to the epididymis. These structures can be found resting on top of each testes. Fresh out of the testes, sperms are not yet matured and this is where the epididymis takes over. The sperm are stored here and this is where sperm matures. From here, the sperm moves into the vas deferens.

Reactant product
gogolik [260]

Answer:

4 grams

Explanation:

If in an experiment, we have 4g of reactants, the mass of the products will also be 4g.

This is in compliance with the law of conservation of mass in a chemical reaction.

According to this law,

"in a chemical reaction, matter is neither created nor destroyed but changed from one form to another".

If:

      A + B → C

         4g 4g

mass of A and B must be equal to the mass of the product according to the law of conservation of mass.

Identify two examples of environmental factors that may impact salivary peroxidase activity. Describe how each of the environmen
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

Examples of environmental factors that may alter salivary peroxidase include periodontitis, oral hygiene, presence of heavy metal ions, bacteria (e.g., Streptococcus gordonii), anaerobic conditions, temperature, pH, etc.

Explanation:

Peroxidase is an enzyme found in all aerobic cells that act to convert toxic hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) into dioxygen (O2) and water (H2O). This enzyme plays an important non-specific defensive role against proliferating micro-organisms that cause periodontal diseases such as periodontitis, which is a serious inflammatory disease affecting the tissues around the teeth. The most common environmental factors influencing the development of periodontitis include oral hygiene, smoking and age. In this regard, it has recently been shown that there is a positive correlation between salivary peroxidase activity and periodontal health, especially in non-smoker individuals. In consequence, it is expected that smoker individuals are more prone to suffer periodontal diseases by reduction of the salivary peroxidase levels.
