Subtract x from the left side to get
16=8x

Now divide by 8 on both sides to get x by it self

16÷8
8x÷8

x=2

Comment if you have any questions. :)

You subtract 16 from both sides so you will get x=9x+16 then u subtract 9x from both sides so you will get -8x=16 then u divide each side by -8. so you will get -2.

Calculate the perimeter if the value of x is 5.
IceJOKER [234]
Ah u again lol

Perimeter of Isosceles Triangle = 2x + 8
                                                  = 2(5) + 8
                                                  = 10 + 8
                                                  = 18

Therefore, the perimeter is 18. Maybe lol

Graph the line passing through the given point and having the indicated slope. through (3, negative 2) with slope minus−three
Alex17521 [72]

Answer:

See the attachment

Step-by-step explanation:

A slope of -3/5 means the line drops 3 units for each 5 units it goes to the right. Then you can find another point on the line by going 5 uints to the left (to x=-2) and 3 units up (to y=1).

Plot the given point and the one just computed and draw the line through them.

The moon is about 382,500km away from Earth. This distance actually varies by about 22,500km. What are the maximum and minimum d
KiRa [710]

Answer:

The minimum distance to the moon is of 360,000 km and the maximum distance is of 405,000 km

Step-by-step explanation:

The maximum distance is found adding the variation.

The minimum distance is found subtracting the variation.

We have that:

Distance: 382,500 km

Variation: 22,500 km

So

Maximum distance: 382500 + 22500 = 405,000 km

Minimum distance: 382500 - 22500 = 360,000 km

The minimum distance to the moon is of 360,000 km and the maximum distance is of 405,000 km

What is the value of m in the ecuation 1/2m -3/4n = 16, when n =8 ?
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer: m=44

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2m-3/4n = 16

1/2m-3/4(8) = 16

1/2m-24/4 = 16

1/2m-6 = 16

1/2m = 22

m=44
