Answer: The respiratory system moves air in and out of the body. When you breath in oxygen this creates oxygenated blood. The blood moves through the aorta which then distributes the oxygenated blood to rest of the body. The co2 then leaves the lungs when you exhale. Hope this helped. :)

Answer: The respiratory and circulatory system work together to make gas exchange possible because on the air sacs inside the lungs there are lots of cavalries which allow the oxygen poor and oxygen rich blood to flow through. There has exchange occurs. The oxygen gets filtered into the oxygen poor blood and the carbon dioxide gets released back into the lungs, which we then exhale.

Bob is going hiking in the mountains this weekend. The weather shows it will get down to 15 degrees and it may snow. What clothi
vovikov84 [41]

Answer:

See Below

Explanation:

At 15 degrees, exposure to cold elements can lead to hypothermia. Bob should wear a winter coat and lined pants, as well as snow gloves to avoid frostbite. A beanie or hoodie to cover the head is a must. A lined fleece neckwarmer to cover the face and neck will be helpful as well. Appropriate shoes/boots that are water resistant.

He should have some emergency supplies in his backpack. These may include an emergency blanket, avalanche kit, tent, and sleeping bag appropriate for 15-degree weather. He should also have non-freezable food items or instead material to start a fire.

A nurse is teaching a client with a vitamin B12 deficiency about appropriate food choices to increase the amount of B12 ingested
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer:

"I will eat a meat source such as chicken or pork with each meal."

Explanation:

Vitamin B12, or cobalamin, is one of eight B-complex vitamins. It is found only in animal foods (except honey), such as red meats, seafood, fish, eggs and milk, and is responsible for important functions in the body. Vitamin B12 deficiency is difficult to diagnose, but can cause serious conditions such as megaloblastic anemia and pernicious anemia. Specific groups in society, such as non-supplementary vegetarians and vegans and people over 50, are those most vulnerable to vitamin B12 deficiency.

Regarding the customer exposed in the question, the statement "I will eat a meat source such as chicken or pork with each meal." demonstrates that he is well informed and has correctly learned all the claims about vitamin B12.
