When a person is diagnosed with dementia, they are being diagnosed with a set of symptoms. This is similar to someone who has a sore throat. Their throat is sore but it is not known what is causing that particular symptom. It could be allergies, strep throat, or a common cold. Similarly, when someone has dementia they are experiencing symptoms without being told what is causing those symptoms.

Hedda and Kate have been sharing an apartment for two months, but they're both frustrated. Hedda is tired of nagging Kate about
Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

They should use "I" messages that clearly state how the speaker feels and what she wants.

Explanation:

Hedda and Kate are engaged in a conflict where they have to nag at each other to keep their dishes clean. When a person nags they use the "you message". This expresses to the listener and that they have to do the job they are being nagged about.

When an "I" message is being used then it makes the other person empathize with them. This makes them do the work in the interest of others. It also makes clear what a person feels because of the other's actions.

Hence, the "I" message should be used to resolve the conflict.

The cluster approach to categorizing personality disorders is based on resemblance.

What is a personality disorder?

A personality disorder is a mental health illness marked by persistent, pervasive, disruptive patterns of thought, behaviour, mood, and interpersonal interaction. These behaviours significantly disturb the individual and/or limit their capacity to operate. Our personalities play a big part in shaping who we are as people. It involves a special fusion of characteristics, such as attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours, as well as how we show these characteristics in our relationships with other people and the outside world. Personality disorders can result in abnormal behaviour, false perceptions of reality, and misery in all areas of life, such as work, relationships, and social interaction.

If is not removed from the body, its own blood can become poisonous.
dimaraw [331]
Well I don't know about "poisonous" per se, but in sickle cell anemia, when serious clotting crises occur, the victim must get infused with fresh blood and sometimes plasmaphoresis (filtering out tiny clots). This can also occur with other severe clotting disorders.
But in total renal failure, the kidneys shut down and stop filtering wastes and excess electrolytes from the blood into urine for removal, then metabolic wastes (urea, uric acid, creatinine) and minerals build up, and must be dialyzed out by machines and filters. Uremia, urea waste build-up, and hyperkalemia (excessive blood potassium) can become so severe as to be life-threatening.
