Let's find what is the equivalent value of 0.25 kilometers expressed in centimeters: Based on the given choices, let's solve and show how did we find out the correct answer: => According to the unit of measurement conversion, in every 1 km there are 1000 centimeter. Now, since the given kilometer value is less than 1 which is 0.25km, let's expect that the answer must be less than 1 000 cm also.=> 1 km = 1 000 cm=> 0.25 km * 1 000  = 250 cm.Thus, the answer is 250 cm.<span>

together,sarah's two cats have the same mass as her dog,11 kg.the mass of one cat is 1500 g greater than the mass of the other.
Alika [10]
Let (a) be the first cat
let (b) be the second cat
a +b=11kg-----(1)
a=b+1500g⇒(1.5 kg)-------(2)
so now u have a system of two unknowns
a=11-b
substitute a in (2)
11-b=b+1.5
11-1.5=2b
2b=9.5
b=9.5/2=4.75
subs. b in (1)
a+b=11
a+4.75=11
a=11-4.75=6.25
so cat (a) is 6.25 kg
and (b) is 4.75 kg
hope I helped

A large container has a maximum capacity of 64 ounces. The container is filled with 8 ounces less than its maximum capacity. Ans
son4ous [18]

Answer:

The container is filled to 87.5% of the maximum capacity.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Maximum capacity of container = m = 64 ounces

Filled capacity=> as it is 8 less than maximum capacity = 64-8 = 56 ounces

The container is 56 ounces full.

To find the percentage:

percentage = \frac{56}{64}*100\\= 0.875*100\\=87.5\%

Hence,

The container is filled to 87.5% of the maximum capacity.

Given f(x) = 3x^2 + 2x – 1 and g(x) = 4x-5 find ( g of f) (-2)
pishuonlain [190]

Answer:

23

Step-by-step explanation:

Evaluate f(- 2) then substitute the value obtained into g(x)

f(- 2) = 3(- 2)² + 2(- 2) - 1 = 3(4) - 4 - 1 = 12 - 5 = 7 , then

g(7) = 4(7) - 5 = 28 - 5 = 23
