At a reception for a U.S. political candidate, the guests appear to be divided into groups. People in some groups are all Africa
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

As in the given situation, during the reception, the guests were divided into groups as African American, Latin Americans, Asian. As from the beginning the Latin Americans are given more priority as Whites as compared to the African American as they are blacks.

This has been a part of their traditions as the Latins believe that the African Americans are below the Latin Americans. This discrimination is present in all over American in every field, whether any political meeting, parties, schools, etc. There statement was like, ”we wants to be with similar persons”.

They don’t even live with Blacks, or Blacks with whites. There are separate residential areas for both Latin American as well as the African American. They even don’t want to be neighbors. Most of the African American believes that this prejudice will never leave the minds of Latin Americans.

They treat themselves superior than them. That’s why they also form different groups during these receptions. It has grown to be more like their culture to treat the other group as different.

As government has applied various laws and directives to protect the Blacks, but the supremacy feeling is still in the minds of Whites. Sometimes the Blacks feels threatened and voiceless during these parties when they are separated. All this shows the political inequality also.

During the past, the Martin Luther King Jr. had proclaimed that, “it’s a promise that all Americans will be treated equal, including both Whites & Blacks”. But till now the statement is not implemented totally. Still people are separated in these receptions.
