It depends on the tea you're drinking really. For all hot teas of course they feel hot in the back of your throat in a soothing type of manner. Tea drank with honey tastes sweet and flows down your throat smoothly. Chai spice tastes like Thanksgiving pies, and Earl Grey is terribly bland.
