Question 1:

 • the starting point for any argument.

A claim refers to the main point that an author or speaker is going to argue. The claim, therefore, is the starting point for any argument. When writing an essay, first you have to establish what your claim is. Once you do so, the rest of the essay needs to provide evidence and support for this position.

Question 2:

 • A counterclaim is a statement of reasons someone might disagree with the claim.

A counterclaim, as the name indicates, is the opposite of a claim. A counterclaim is a statement in which someone states why they disagree with the claim.

Question 3:

Claim: Brutus was a betrayer because he killed Julius Caesar.

Counterclaim:

1. Brutus truly seemed to believe that he was acting fof the benefit of Rome, and that leaving Caesar alive would be worse for everyone.

2. Throughout the play, Brutus feels unsure about his decision, and the guilt causes him a lot of pain.

3. He eventually commits suicid.e as he feels he deserves to die in this way after what he did to Caesar.

"Mom, he's looking at me! Make him stop!" These remarks imply that the very act of being looked at is offensive to this child. M
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

D) internal models of experience

Explanation:

Internal working models are the ways relationships with caregivers shape the future relationships and behaviors of the child that are adopted during the growing period.

It fits into the nurture side of the developmentalists debate, which states that the experience shapes the individual's interpretation and that the person attaches to this experience.

Internal models of experience broader up internal working models, so it includes that most of our experiences of relationships affect our behavior and reactions.

That is why the mother in the example doesn't react - she has the experience of the relationship with the child and their behavior, so she doesn't find the child's cries alarming.
