ASAP PLS Solve this exercise using the fact that the sum of the measures of the three angles of a triangle is 180°.In a triangl

e, the measure of the first angle is twice the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is 20° more
than the measure of the second angle. What is the measure of each angle?

Answer:

80°, 40° and 60°

Step-by-step explanation:

Name the second angle X and the first angle to 2X (because it is twice the measure of angle number two) and the third angle to 20°+X (because it was 20° more than the second angle)

so we will have an equation of

180°=2x + x + (20°+x)

160°=4x

40°=x

so the second angle is 40° as it is represented by just one X

therefore the first angle which is twice the measure is 80° and the third angle which is 20° more is 60°. hope that helps!

The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to twice the sum of its length and its width. One rectangle has a length of 13 1/8 inches
Serga [27]

Answer:

8 1/8 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

P = 2 ( l+w)

l = 13 1/8

P = 42 1/2

Substitute the two values into the equation

42 1/2 = 2 ( 13 1/8 + w)

Change the mixed numbers to improper fractions

42 1/2 = ( 2 *42+1)/2 = 85/2

13 1/8 = ( 8*13+1) /8 =105/8

85/2= 2 (105/8+ w)

Divide each side by 2

85/2 *1/2= 2/2 (105/8+ w)

85/4 = (105/8+ w)

Subtract 105/8 from each side

85/4 -105/8 = (105/8-105/8+ w)

Get a common denominator

170/8 -105/8 = w

65/8 = w

Change back to a mixed number

64/8 + 1/8 = w

8 1/8

The area of a rectangle is 1/2 inch. the length of the rectangle is 3/8. what is the width?
kompoz [17]

Answer:4/3 is what I got

Step-by-step explanation:

a = Lw

Lw = 1/2

w = (1/2)/L

L = 3/8

w = (1/2)/L

w = (1/2)/(3/8)

w = (1/2)*(8/3)

w = (1/1)*(4/3)

answer:w = 4/3 inch

A fair, twenty-faced die has $19$ of its faces numbered from $1$ through $19$ and has one blank face. another fair, twenty-faced
lawyer [7]
Represent 24 as a sum of two numbers, first number from first die and second number from second die.
24=19+5=18+6=17+7=16+8=14+10=13+11=12+12=11+13=10+14=9+15=8+16=7+17=6+18=5+19=4+20 (the sums 15+9 and 20+4 are absent, because there aren't numbers: 20 on the first die and number 9 on the second die). Totally, you receive 15 different representations of 24.
The probability that the sum of the two numbers facing up will be 24 is

P= \frac{15}{20\cdot 20} = \frac{3}{80} (here 20\cdot 20 means that you have 20 possibilities to roll first number or blank face on the first die and 20 possibilities to roll number or blank face on the second die).
