The correct answer is D.

McCarthyism is the practice of making accusations or treason or disloyalty without proper or no evidence.

This term has its origin in the period in the United States known as the Second Red Scare, lasting from 1940's to 1950's. During that period there was heightened political repression and a fear spreading campaign, accusing many of collaborating with Soviet Union spies and spreading Communism in the U.S.

During the McCarthy area, hundreds of Americans were accused of being Communists, they became subjects of aggressive investigations and questioning, many were accused falsely or without any proper evidence.

Select the statement that does NOT represent a central metaphysical tenet
leva [86]

Answer:

A). The world of the senses is unchanging, but Platonic Heaven is in constant flux.

Explanation:

Plato's theory of forms asserts that the physical domain is only a shadow of the authentic/truthful reality of the domain/realm of forms.

The above statement does not represent Plato's central metaphysical tenet as it states that 'Plato's heaven is in constant flux.' He rather asserts that the forms are abstract, ideal, timeless, and unchangeable ideas that have the ability to transcend space and time. Thus, option A is the correct answer.
