15.50 x 20 = $310

31 x 8 = $248

310 + 248 = $558

Her total pay for the week is $558.

So Glad I Could Help!

She works 25 hours a week and earns 15 dollars each hour, so she earns 25 x 15 dollars a week, which is 375 dollars, since her regular hours are weekday hours, which are not on sunday.

If she works an additional 8 hours on Sunday, however, she will make double pay, so she will earn 30 dollars an hour. 30 x 8 = 240.

240 + 375 = 615 dollars.

The answer is 615.

Hope this helps.

A triangular plot of land has side lengths of 2,000 feet, 2,100 feet and 2,900 feet. Does the plot of land form a right triangle
Bingel [31]

The plot of land forms right triangle.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

the three sides are a,b and c.

The sum of square of two sides equals to the square of third side. We will consider the larger side as c, therefore,

a= 2000 feet

b= 2100 feet

c= 2900 feet

Using Pythagoras theorem;

a^2+b^2=c^2\\(2000)^2+(2100)^2=(2900)^2\\4000000 + 4410000 = 8410000\\8410000 feet = 8410000 feet

As the three sides satisfy pythagoras theorem, therefore, the plot of land form right triangle.

The plot of land forms right triangle.

Which expressions are equivalent to -5x - 15 + 25x - 30? Choose ALL that apply. −5(2 − 3+52 – 6) −5(2 – 5x + 9) −5(2+3 – 5x – 6)
timurjin [86]

The correct expression that is equivalent to the algebraic expression -5x - 15 + 25x - 30 is -5(-4x + 9).

<h3>How to determine the equivalent expression</h3>

We shall simplify the given algebraic expression by carrying out basic mathematics operations as follows;

Given: -5x - 15 + 25x - 30

we group like terms together

25x - 5x - 15 - 30

20x - 45

the number 5 is a common factor of 20x and 45, so we have that;

5 × 4x - 5 × 9

by factoring out 5

5(4x - 9)

also;

5(4x - 9) = -5(-4x + 9)

Therefore, -5(-4x + 9) is an equivalent expression to the algebraic expression -5x - 15 + 25x - 30

Find z. Write your answer in simplest radical form.
lara [203]

\qquad \qquad\huge \underline{\boxed{\sf Answer}}

Let's solve ~

The given triangle is a right angled Triangle, so we can apply Trigonometric relations to find the required result ;

That is :

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:  \sin(30 \degree)  =  { \dfrac{z}{2 \sqrt{2} } }

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \:  \dfrac{1}{2}  =  \dfrac{z}{2 \sqrt{2} }

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: z =  \dfrac{2 \sqrt{2} }{2}

\qquad \sf  \dashrightarrow \: z =  \sqrt{2}

So, the value of z is \sqrt{}{2}
