Answer:

46 chromosomes

92 Chromatids

One DNA molecule

Explanation:

The interphase part of the cell cycle is divided into 3 sub-phases namely; G1 phase, S-phase and G2-phase

G2-Phase occurs when the cell grows more to make more proteins and organelles. This also when the cell reorganize its contents in preparation for mitosis.  The number of chromosomes will therefore, remain the same but the DNA molecule will be one in preparation for mitosis where it can then divide into two

Poison ivy is a weed that produces an oil which causes skin rashes. Scientists want to perform an experiment to see if poison iv
attashe74 [19]

Answer:

In these experiments the control group is compared with the comparison group.

The control group will sometime be in the presence of carbon dioxide, and will be controlled, where the analyst or researcher will take an expert position and then will compare it evolutionarily with the comparison group that the ideal would be that there is not ever a carbon dioxide

Explanation:

If we have two poison ivy research groups that are representative of the poison ivy that the researchers are looking to investigate the results will have much better credibility and will be more reliable.

On the other hand, the comparison of the two groups makes it possible to rigorously analyze whether or not poison ivy grows in the presence of this gas.

Carbon dioxide and oxygen enter and exit a leaf by diffusion. which structure(s) on a leaf allow(s) this process to happen?
Montano1993 [528]
The stomata and their guard cells allows this happen.

Stomata is like a hole or gap on a leaf, most of them are present in a bottom side of the leaf, since waxy cuticle is not present over there. And 2 guard cells make up a stomata.

Guard cells are able to control the size of the stomata, depending on the situation. For example, the guard cells close up during day time because a lot of sunlight may cause more water loss.

In conclusion, guard cells and the stomata are the main structures that allow carbon dioxide and oxygen (water too) diffuse in and out of leaves.
