1) 8v+w+7-8v+2w

=w+7+2w

=3w+7

-----------------------------

2) 4c^2+6c-3c^2-2c-3

=c^2+6c-2c-3

=c^2+4c-3

-------------------------------

3) z^3+5z+3z^2+1-4-2z^2

=z^3+z^2+5z+1-4

=z^3+z^2+5z-3

12x-24=180 what would x be when you solve this?
miskamm [114]

Hey there!

“12x - 24 = 180”

ADD by 24 on BOTH SIDES

12 - 24 + 24 = 180 + 24

CANCEL out: -24 + 24 because that gives 0

KEEP: 180 + 24 = 204

New equation:

12x = 204

DIVIDE 12 on BOTH SIDES

12x / 12 = 204 / 12

CANCEL out: 12 / 12 because of that gives you 1

KEEP: 204 / 12 because that gives the value “x”

204 / 12 = x

204 / 12 = 17

x = 17 ☑️

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!

The volume of a right circular cone is latex: v=\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2h v = 1 3 π r 2 h . suppose a cone has a constant height of h
MrRa [10]

V  =  (1/3)·π·r²·h                     First, multiply both sides by 3:

3V  =  π·r²·h                            Now, divide by π·h

3V / (π·h)  =  r²                       Finally, take the square root of both sides:

±√[ 3V / (π·h) ]  =  r²              If you are in algebra, you need the ±; if you are in geometry, you probably                                                      don't (usaully, you don't have negative radii).
