An archaeologist studies the lives of early humans by examining artifacts. Archaeology is essentially the study of human life, as well as material culture and environmental data which can explain how people in history lived. This includes prehistory and history. Archaeologists use different ways to identify this through surveying, excavation and analysis of data collection.
