A weak topic sentence is
The narrator in “Cathedral” shows his jealousy when he thinks, “I waited in vain to hear my name on my wife’s sweet lips”
This is a weak topic sentence be use they should not include quotes. It should be your own idea expressed in your own words. Use quotes only for support. Hope this helps :)
