F(x) = x2-3 The domain of a polynomial is all x: (-∞,∞)Since f(x) is a quadratic equation, its graph is a parabola.  Since the coefficient of the x2 term is positive (1), the graph opens upward and the vertex is at the bottom and is the lowest or minimum point of f(x).  The vertex is located at the point (0,-3).  Hence the range is from -3 to infinity: [-3,∞)

Graph the image of the given triangle under a dilation with a scale factor of 1/2 and center of dilation (0, 0) .
Irina-Kira [14]

Vertices of the given triangle are:  (0, 0) , (8, 0) and (-6, 0)

If we dilate the triangle with a scale factor of 1/2 , then the new vertices will be...

(0*\frac{1}{2}, 0*\frac{1}{2} )= (0,0)

(8*\frac{1}{2}, 0*\frac{1}{2} )= (4,0)

(0*\frac{1}{2}, -6*\frac{1}{2} )= (0,-3)

Now we will just plot those vertices for getting the dilated triangle.

What is a correct congruence statement for the triangles shown? Enter your answer in the box. △ ≅△PFX
andrew11 [14]

Answer:

ΔBLG ≅ ΔPFX

Step-by-step explanation:

Here it is given that ∠B≅<P.

Also its given that

BL ≅PF

The angle opposite BL is ∠G

The angle opposite PF is ∠X

∠G ≅ ∠X

Again

BG ≅PX

The angle opposite BG is ∠L

The angle opposite PX is ∠F

So ∠L ≅ ∠F

Hence B in place of P

L in place of F

G in place of X

So for ΔPFX, the corresponding triangle is ΔBLG

Hence

ΔBLG ≅ ΔPFX

A number line ranging from 5 to 45 with a box encompassing the numbers 20, 25, and 30.
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

the maximum value is 45

Step-by-step explanation:

  • A box of leaf plot has 5 points and they are:

The minimum, the first quartile (Q1) the median (Q2), the third quartile (Q3), and the maximum. The box encompasses Q1, Q2, and Q3. The maximum is after Q3 and the minimum is before Q1.

In this case,

Q1, Q2, and Q3 are in a range 20-30, thus the maximum come after 30, which is 45
