The answer is x=25/24 or 1 1/24. You would solve this using inverse operations.
2/5x+1/3=3/4
1) 1/3=4/12 and 3/4=9/12
2) 9/12-4/12=5/12
3) 2/5x=5/12
4) Multiply by the reciprocal.
5) 5/2*2/5x=5/12*5/2
6) x=25/24
7)25/24=1 1/24

Which segment is opposite to angle D? DС FC or DF
PIT_PIT [208]

Answer:

The segment opposite to angle D is CF.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find what angle is opposite to a side. All you just have to do is see which segment doesn't touch that angle.  We see that angle D does not touch CF, so angle D must be opposite to CF.

Does anyone know how to solve a system of linear equations using elimination? I am having a hard time on how to do it for differ
Mariana [72]
1. Multiply each equation so they end up with the same coefficient

2. Subtract your second equation from the first

3. Solve for one of the variables (I tend to solve an equation that only contains 2 variables if possible. So it would be if you have one question with x and y, solve for the easier one)

4. Substitute the variable you found in the least step into one of the other equations and find a second variable.

5. Substitute both variables you found into the last equation and there you should be left with x, y, and z :))

I hope this helped sksjsk if it didn’t I could write it out to hopefully help more :)

Lalo has 1,500 minutes per month on his cell phone plan. How many more minutes can he use if he has already talked for 785 minut
Ket [755]

Answer:

715 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

To find out how many more minutes he can use, subtract the number of minutes he has already talked from the number of minutes  of his plan

Let

x -----> the number of minutes  of his plan

y -----> he number of minutes he has already talked

so

x-y

we have

x=1,500\ min\\y=785\ min

substitute

1,500-785=715\ min
