What is typeface? Explain the difference between serif font and San
andrew11 [14]

A typeface is a particular design of type.

Serifs are semi-structural details or small decorative flourishes at the ends of some strokes that have made letters and symbols. For example, most teachers like it when their students use Times New Roman font. Sans serif does not have these details or flourishes. Another example would be the Arial font.

Why should an actor have several monologues ready at any time?
cestrela7 [59]
So if an actor is at an audition, and is asked to perform a contrasting monologue of the one they just performed, they could do so. For example, If you just performed a comedy monologue that the director liked, and they wanted to see how you portray drama, they would ask "Now can you show me a contrasting monologue?" If the actor has multiple monologues memorized, he/she could perform a contrasting one instead of saying "I only prepared this one for the audition...".

I hope this Helps!

Which drawing medium have artist commonly used to create studies for their larger final artworks?
Pani-rosa [81]

The best answer here would be pencil.

Artists use pencil to make sketches and create studies. They then use these sketches and studies to create their final larger piece. They use pencil because it's quick, can be corrected, lightweight and easy to use. Before pencils artists would make charcoal drawings but once we had pencils it made sense to use them as they aren't messy like charcoal.
