Between steps 4 and 5, the mechanical energy of the turbine is converted to
Ann [662]

Answer:

Between steps 4 and 5, the mechanical energy of the turbine is converted to electrical energy.

Explanation:

A turbine can be described as rotating device which converts energy from fluid like water or energy from the wind into useful form of energy like electricity.

There are different types of turbines each made to generate energy from different sources.

To generate hydroelectricity, the water which is stored in a dam (potential energy) is released over a rotating turbine (mechanical energy) made of blades which converts it into electrical energy.

You select an F1 male chicken that resulted from a cross of a slow feathering female to a wild-type male. You cross this F1 male
nevsk [136]

If the parental genotypes are homzygous, the F1 birds would be heterozygous while all the F2 offspring would have the wild-type phenotype.

Monohybrid crossing

Based on the assumption that the wild-type genotype is AA and the slow feathering genotype is aa.

A cross between AA and aa:

                                  AA x aa

                  F1 Aa Aa Aa Aa

One F1 male (Aa) is then crossed with a wild-type female (AA):

                                 Aa x AA

                               AA AA Aa Aa

Genotypic proportion: 2 AA:2 Aa

Phenotypic proportion = 100% wild-type

Why lipids must be absorbed by lacteals rather than the blood capillaries within a villus?
Lilit [14]

Answer:

Digested food is able to pass into the blood vessels in the wall of the small intestine through the process of diffusion. The inner wall, or mucosa, of the small intestine is covered in wrinkles or folds called plicae circulares that project microscopic finger-like pieces of tissue called villi, which in turn have finger-like projections known as microvilli. The function of the plicae circulares, the villi, and the microvilli is to increase the amount of surface area available for the absorption of nutrients.

Each villus transports nutrients to a network of capillaries and fine lymphatic vessels called lacteals close to its surface.

hope this helps:)
