Simple.....

once you factor the expression completely you should get...

16a^{2}  b^{4} (a-b)(a+3b)------> 16a^{2} b^{4} is your GCF.

Thus, your answer.

16a^4b^4 + 32a^3b^5 - 48a^2b^6

the GCF would be : 16a^2b^4....because the 16 is the highest coefficient that goes into 16,32,and 48. Then u just take the a with the smallest exponent and the b with the smallest exponent.

Lynna [10]

Answer:

1 hour = $9.2

Step-by-step explanation:

The question says that:

Brody makes $78.20 in 8.5 hours.

So,

8.5 hours = $78.20

We need to find 1 hour pay.

So, divide both sides of the above equation by 8.5

8.5 / 8.5 hours = $78.20 / 8.5

1 hour = $9.2

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!

Help, don’t understand this problem.
Mila [183]

Answer:

(2, 3 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the 2 equations

3x - 5y = - 9 → (1)

x + 2y = 8 → (2)

Multiplying (2) by - 3 and adding to (1) will eliminate the x- term, that is

- 3x - 6y = - 24 → (3)

Add (1) and (3) term by term to eliminate x

(3x - 3x) + (- 5y - 6y) = (- 9 - 24), that is

- 11y = - 33 ( divide both sides by - 11 )

y = 3

Substitute y = 3 into either of the 2 equations and solve for x

Substituting in (2)

x + 2(3) = 8

x + 6 = 8 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

x = 2

Solution is (2, 3 )

A party rental company has chairs and tables for rent. The total cost to rent 3 chairs and 2 tables is $22. The total cost to re
Cloud [144]

Answer:

The cost to rent each chair and each table are $1.5 and $8.75 respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent 1 chair

Let y represent 1 table

Therefore

3x + 2y = 22   ------------(1)

5x + 6y = 60   ------------(2)

Multiply (1) by 5 and (2) by 3

15x + 10y = 110   ----------(3)

15x + 18y = 180  ------------(4)

Subtract (3) from (4)

8y = 70

Divide through by 8

y = $8.75

Substitute y = 8.75 in (1)

3x + 2y = 22

3x + 2(8.75) = 22

3x + 17.5 = 22

Collect like terms

3x = 22 - 17.5

3x = 4.5

Divide through by 3

x =$1.5
