Answer:

$6.44 is your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

What you do is you take the 20% and you make it into a decimal which is .20.

Then you will multiply it to 32.20.

32.20*.20=$6.44 is your answer.

Jennifer places $500 into a savings account that is paying 1.5% annual interest. The interest is compounded monthly. How much mo
Anna11 [10]

Answer:

$522.99

Step-by-step explanation:

FV  = P (1 + \frac{r}{n} )^n^t

Fv = total amount plus interest over the given period of time

P = Principal amount deposited i.e $500

r = interest given 1.5% i.e 0.015

n = period of time the principal remains deposited. In this case annually i.e 12 months

FV = 500 ( 1 + \frac{0.015}{12} ) ^1^2^X^3

FV = 500 ( 1.04599)

FV = $522.99

How can the Pythagorean Identity be used to find sin θ, cos θ, or tan θ and the quadrant location of the angle?
Archy [21]

First lets see the pythagorean identities

sin^2 \Theta + cos^2 \Theta =1

So if we have to solve for sin theta , first we move cos theta to left side and then take square root to both sides, that is

sin^2 \Theta = 1-cos^2 \Theta => sin \theta = \pm \sqrt{1-cos^2 \Theta}

Now we need to check the sign of sin theta

First we have to remember the sign of sin, cos , tan in the quadrants. In first quadrant , all are positive. In second quadrant, only sin and cosine are positive. In third quadrant , only tan and cot are positive and in the last quadrant , only cos and sec are positive.

So if theta is in second quadrant, then we have to positive sign but if theta is in third or fourth quadrant, then we have to use negative sign .

Wendy is on a long road trip. So far, she has driven 125 miles in 150 minutes.
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

125 miles / 150 minutes = 300 miles / x       Criss multiply

Notice that the numerators both have the same units -- miles. Proportions should always be set up that way.

125 x = 150 * 300                  Combine the right

125x = 45000                        Divide by 125

x = 45000/125

x = 360 more minutes which is 6 hours.
